Special Operations for America (SOFA) was founded in July 2012 by CDR USN SEAL (retired) Ryan Zinke.  The SOFA advisory board includes leaders of distinction from the military, private and public communities. SOFA is a tax exempt, independent expenditure committee (Super PAC) not affiliated with any candidate or candidate’s committee.

In October 2013 SOFA former Commanding Officer of SEAL Team 3, Gary Stubblefield, assumed the Chairmanship.  SOFA is aggressive in its determination to send military leaders to Washington.  Leaders that believe in a bolstered national defense and the advancement of American strength.  The past 50 years have seen a dramatic decrease of Congressional representatives who have served in our Armed Forces.  With grid lock at an all-time high and our trust in government near record lows, America needs leaders with integrity, honor and courage.  Fifty years ago veterans represented almost 80% of the Congressional body, today it is 19%.  SOFA is committed to sending proven and battle tested leadership to Washington.

Over the past two years SOFA has grown by the thousands and will continue to do so as veterans and patriots alike strive to get proven military leaders to Washington.  We swore an oath to defend the constitution of the United States against both enemies; foreign and domestic, and it has no expiration!  Join Us!
